Logo and Identity Design

A logo is the smallest part of an identity and the most argued about. We design the whole system around it: the mark, the type, the colors, and how they behave at favicon size, on a dark interface, on an invoice. Identities that survive contact with reality, not just a portfolio mockup.

How we work on this

The test of a mark is degradation. Shrink it to sixteen pixels, print it in one color, drop it on a photo, watch it next to competitors in a browser tab row. Plenty of beautiful logos fail these tests and their owners pay for it in a thousand small compromises afterward. We run those tests during design, so the mark you approve is the mark that works everywhere.

Process is short and opinionated. We learn the business, present a few strong directions rather than twenty filler ones, and refine the chosen one until it locks. You receive every file format you will ever be asked for, named so that a printer, a developer, and a social media manager can each find theirs without emailing you.

What you get

  • Discovery and competitive scan
  • A few strong directions, then refinement
  • Final mark in all formats and color modes
  • Type and color specifications
  • Quick-reference usage sheet
  • Files organized for handoff
